Door unlocking issues.
 

On my 1986 300 SDL, the drivers side rear door lost the pull up connector that comes out of the door, the threaded part dropped down into the door and I haven't been able to pull it back up to unlock the door. Any suggestions on how to open the door so I can take the panel off and fix it?

I've been able to"snag" it by twisting a double loop (two loops in a row...8) in light wire. bend it to where the loops alternate sides when pushed over the end of the rod..
