No power to Octopus console light cable
1983 300D Turbo/Auto
-Cluster lights work -Hazard switch light works -Cigar lighter has power -Window switches work -Center console buttons work (Antenna, Sunroof, Courtesy light) -Map light works -All fuses work (12v probe test) I've tried replacing all 5 bulbs on the octopus cable and nothing powers on. Method: -Ignition key ACC Position/ or engine Running -Headlights On/Parking lights on I've also used a 12v probe light to test the circuits above. The only one not receiving power is the Octopus. I cant trace the cable far enough as it goes Up towards the Dash/Behind center vents. Any ideas? |

Maybe a loose wire at the Dimming Rheostat? The Instrument cluster lights are tied together there.
