Reseal W123 manual heater control valve

Has anyone resealed the W123 manual heater control valve? Mine is leaking on me.

Time to take it or a spare one, apart and see ~ if it has O-Rings they're usually fairly simple to get and replace.....

I can't see any fasteners holding it together. I think it's ultrasonically welded at assembly = a 'lifetime part'.

Why bother resealing? The part is pretty cheap. Only about 40 or 50 bucks. 1238302084.

Sometimes you have more dollars than hours, and sometimes more hours than dollars. If an O-ring would make the puddle go away in a couple hours, I surely would.
