05 W211 Stuck in Limp mode

I have an 05 E320 cdi that has went into limp mode. I've replaced the conductor plate, 13 pin connector adapter, solenoids, filter, fluid and aux. battery with no change. The Code is P0715. Also the "c/s" switch is stuck on "S". Any ideas what else could cause this?

After you replaced the conductor plate did you clear the codes with SDS?

What kind of scan tool are you using?

Did you look up the _DETAILED_ definition of the code?

Why are you randomly throwing parts at the car?

You need to clear the error codes in the transmission computer. sDS, icarsoft or foxwell can do that.

I did clear the codes with a generic OBDll scanner, however, I have discovered that i should have used a MB specific scanner such as the iCarsoft MBll. Fortunately, this is the first time I've had a need for such, so live and learn. Thank you all for your responses. Once my new scanner is delivered, I will let you all know how it turned out. Thanks again for your help!

Good Evening Friends!

I have good news. After your suggestions I purchased an iCarsoft MBll scanner specific for Mercedes. I received it today, registered the scanner online and downloaded the updated software. I hooked it up to my car, ran the diagnostics and cleared the codes. Took it for a test drive and hallelujah it shifted like it was new. I am very grateful for your help, otherwise, I'd would have probably taken it to the dealership and paid much more than what the scanner cost. This is a great forum.

Hopefully, this specific post will benefit others.

Thanks again friends!!
