W123 Sedan Euro Headlight’s Screws - does anyone know?

Does anyone know the correct part number for the Mercedes’ dealer screws for the Euro headlights? From memory there are 3 screws on each side. When I did the swap in the past the US DOT Federal headlight buckets’ screws were shorter. To get around this I just used SS screws which appeared close. The original screws were a little too short

I called the Classic Center and was told there is a kit which was around $25 bucks each side. Seemed pricey but I’m OK getting the correct fastener. The problem was the part number is the same for Euro and DOT lights. So something is amiss

Any insight would be greatly appreciated

I am not the stickler you are Mark. I'd use the SS and never look back.

I bought the kits and they worked fine. Look it up in the parts book, they come with more than just the screws. Its basically every piece of hardware.

Would you happen to have the parts kit #?

Those kits are listed for DOT Federal headlights and Euro lights as being the same

I assume they may have screws for both and just packaged everything together? Sort of like flex discs having two sets of bolts. Shorter for manual tranny and longer for automatic

I plan on doing the swap in the upcoming weeks and don’t want to wait on fasteners. I have done the SS screws in the past. I want true OEM for this application

Thanks in advance

PM sent. I remember the DOT screws being too short, when I converted, so I bought the kits. I didn't pay attention that the kit was listed for both headlights. My suspicion is that since the ROW headlights were produced in higher numbers, they superceded those kits to the DOT lights. The kits did have longer screws necessary for the ROW lights.
