Single pin temp sensor by t-stat on OM603?
I was replacing the t-stat on my 1987 W124 300TD today and found that the single pin sensor next to the thermostat housing has been broken for a while. The pin is broken off and the plug has been just hanging free. I'm having trouble identifying exactly which coolant sensor this is.
I think it is 'Radiator Temp Switch' listed on Pelican here: https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/0055457024.htm?pn=005-545-70-24-MBZ&SVSVSI=3393&DID=56879 Is that correct? And what does this particular sensor drive? |

It is for the glow plug relay. Does your GP light stay on for the same duration all the time?

Haven't driven the car enough yet to have noticed. Good to know though, thanks.
So is the part I linked to the correct sensor? https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/0055457024.htm?pn=005-545-70-24-MBZ&SVSVSI=3393&DID=56879 |
