If you look at that attached picture where someone used and alternative measure to remover the pre-chamber rings (a Chisel?) you can see that the pre-chamber rigs are soft.
Since the rings are soft that is where one would expected damage threads if the Injector was over torqued. So that is a good place to look for evidence of the threads being distorted/pulled.

I think it was common for Mercedes to make the threads of one part softer than the other, so that the cheaper, less-mission-critical, or easier-to-replace part would strip first.

Interesting update: I contacted the author of the manual that contained the typo leading to this mistake. He claimed that 75 foot-pounds was insufficient over-torque to worry about damage, and that only at 100 foot-pounds or more would that become a worry.
