what MM where the "better/replacement" connecting rods for the Rodbenders?

Does anyone out there know size difference in mm - for the "Improved"
beefier rods for the Crate motors?

If you have the VIN from a particular car the dealer can tell you if it has been replaced most likely.

question is-- what were the mm of the failed original rods?
were 14mm rods in the "crate motor" version from MB-- that were supposed to be cure?

To what aspect/characteristic/dimension do you refer in citing "14mm"?

I would assume you would get the latest if you bought six rods for your 3.5 motor. Why are you asking about them?

You could always call the shop as a client and ask about rebuilding one and see if they know about the rods. Or straight up ask them about the rebuild. They probably will remember as I doubt they rebuild many.

I suggest buying a three liter with either five or six cylinders.
