passenger mirror drop in reverse.
 

Odd issue this, although there may be a very easy fix:


1997 W210 with power memory seats both sides.



With the passenger-side mirror selected on the 4-way switch, when engaging reverse the mirror does it's drop, and then comes back to the preset position when you drive off, or are not in Reverse for a fair while.


Except, when it drops, it goes waaaaaay too far down and is completely useless. The last W210 I had with power memory seats/mirrors only dropped by a few degrees and was spot on. When it starts dropping, you can briefly click one of the direction settings on the 4-way switch, and it then stops, but next time you go to reverse, off it goes again too far down.


Is there any way to set the extent of how far the mirror drops when in reverse? Currently I have to switch the feature off by selecting the driver door mirror, but it would be superb to have it work properly.
