ethanol would be great but after building a small scale still when a freshman and seeing how much sourmash (60 gallons mash= 2 gallons 180 proof whiskey) was needed to get a gallon of 180 proof "shine" (yeah I went to school in Ky ) I will stick to methanol. There are people who have large scale bio plants and have built very large stills to make large quantities of ethanol for bio production but I am not there yet.
