617 Engine Mount Torque

For a 1985 617, does anybody know the torque value for the 17 mm nuts that connect the aluminum motor mounts to the block? There are four nuts on each side.

I know they have to be really tight or they will come loose. Hard to get a wrench in there too.

I set to the torque wrench 50 ft-lb, then tried 55 ft-lb and that felt like I got it in the "torque to yield" category, so I finished without the torque wrench actually clicking onto 55-ft lb. My advice for future followers is to torque to 50 ft-lb. This is my contribution to Mercedes 617 science since I cannot find a torque specification anywhere.

50 ft-lbf sounds sufficient. Those are thick bolts so I doubt 55 ft-lbf yielded them, but I recall also fine threads so perhaps. I never tried fitting a torque wrench in there, so just whatever I can manage w/ my 1/2" socket wrench without pulling a muscle.
