Make sure you don't have a boost leak somewhere. Anywhere from the turbo outlet (to the silver pipe running forward) down through the intercooler (enters left side) across to the right side and up into the mixing valve.
I had improperly seated the silver outlet pipe at the plastic muffler (up front and center) and caused a boost leak bad enough to set a code but you could really hear it when it opened up. See post #4 above in this thread.

I’ve visually inspected the charge pipes and couldn’t find any issues.
I did find however the clamp on the left side of the Y-pipe lose where it meets the air box. We’ll see if that solves the issue. Thx for the tip! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

We’ll, it turns out my turbo was shot.
Got a shiny new one from Idparts.com for $1150. Next I’ll have to tackle replacing the timing chain. That’s gonna be fun! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
