W123 Trunk Lid Replacement - wiring (240D, 300D)
Hello All,
I was tasked with replacing a neighbor's damaged trunk (boot) lid, and I don't see a plug to disconnect the wiring harness at the driver's hinge. There is an always-on lead for the trunk light and the (headlight-operated) license-plate lights. (And a ground, I assume.) Is it easy to unscrew the light holders and pull them back in, or are there any 'gotchas'? Thanks for any ideas. AK.PDX

What is the year and model of the vehicle you are making reference to?

it's an 82-83 240D, I should've spelled that out.

My experience with wiring harnesses is only on 300CD+D models.
Never even touched a 240D. Sorry. |
