New Noise Adventures Continue...

I posted a week or two ago about a front end noise that seems to indicate my ball joints are starting to show their wear. And now...

Since I bought the car two years ago, it's had an odd sensation that I feel in the butt/lower back of my seat. It's a pop that I get occasionally when applying the brakes or making a sharp left turn at speed. I've always assumed that the noise was some component in the seat itself (as the PO may have been "broad of beam" causing seat wear). Now I'm not so sure... the sensation is getting more pronounced to where now it's more of an audible clunk.

Question, is this possibly a manifestation of subframe bushing wear... or something more nefarious?

The last time I was under the car (6 months ago, while it was up on a lift at the muffler shop) I looked at the subframe bushings and did not see any visible problems... but that may not mean anything.

Your thoughts?
