That may be true, but I ordered two of them. They came from Germany.
They're photographed a couple pages back.

Grille Details
Thanx Fellas ! .
FWIW, matte or satin finishes retain moisture and so shorten the life of whatever they are drastically . Of course, since you're the one who pays you should choose , just be aware of the consequences .

Thanks! I wonder if semi-gloss would be the way to go. I think the full-on gloss might be too shiny but semi-gloss might be a good balance. I think?

It's not the plastic underneath that gets damaged as this isn't totally porous paint and we're talking about multiple coats. He is correct, however, that matte stains and doesn't last as long. High use applications typically do call for gloss. But I'm not a practical man... I used eggshell paint in my bathroom because it looks good. I'd have gone further with matte, but I'm not a total masochist. So far, I've yet to find a paint that doesn't chip over time. I repainted my last grill twice, each time it lasted about 2 years before chips were noticeable. Honestly, do a few tests. Go with whatever you like the look of. But matte is really not that big of a deal...

I thik that you're paying for it so do what pleases you .
I also know that matte or semi gloss doesn't last long in a sunny climate .
