Total we've put maybe 1-2k on, but after 20 miles of driving after the install it quieted down a ton, it's been the same ever since then, I haven't taken another video specifically since those 20 miles though.

I need to check the timing badly, between being sick and the horrific rain/flooding around here has made it difficult to muster up the desire to pull the valve cover and check everything.

Dkr.

I've also got over 50k and on 7 years on a set of Bosios without issue, I cant speak to the effect Fratelli may have had on mfg quality, but as far as I can tell the old Bosio facility just came under the Fratelli umbrella and they are still making the nozzles in the same place as before.

I’ve got about 300 miles on a set of Greazzer rebuilt Monark nozzles on my W115 240d. It’s much smoother, quieter and power is up. My previous set were “peeing” with an injector leaking, so it is no surprise that performance is up.

I rebuilt my 6.2 chev nozzles with "Diesel Kiki" nozzles almost 20 years ago. (been retired for ten of 'em). Rebuilt the Stanadyne governor too. Never a hitch.

Quote:
Diesel Kiki was a Japanese automotive brand established under a Bosch license in 1939. The company initially produced fuel-injection pumps for domestic diesel engines. Diesel Kiki changed its name to Zexel in 1990. Robert Bosch GmbH purchased most of Zexel's shares, following which Zexel was re-organized as Bosch Automotive Systems Corporation in 2000.
Still Diesel Kiki on the boxes in 2000 (±)

Just an FYI on this topic:

I JUST bought a new set of 6 for my Cummins in Truck the Dodge (pre-Ram) pickup. The engine is an ISB which means it's the non-common rail 24 valve. They're Bosch and in their OEM boxes, fresh from Brazil. Rackley's (great local shop owned by my buddy) is doing the top end rebuild (started with a leaky head gasket) and they don't have the head back on yet so we don't know how good the injectors are. The stock ones: 2 good, 2 iffy, and 2 were definitely bad - they were checked at our local HD Diesel service shop. All in all, not bad for a 270K mile engine. Anyhow, should get Truck back next week and I'll keep you posted.
