Wasn't there a problem with using LED's in the brake lights? Either a problem with cruise control or alternator, iirc.

Exclamation LED's & Brake Lights

That's precisely why I added the extra bulbs : so I could have brighter and more numerous brake lights and still have a working cruise control .

The old wives tales of "gotta use the *exact* brake light bulb are wrong .

All it needs be is incandescent .

Try it, you'll love it even if it's a pokey old 240D .
