All of the reamers I have seen have threads.
What was in the 2nd pic of my previous post was end of a longer reamer. You can see the longer reamer in the first picture.

The old ones work fine and at one time Hazet made reamers just as in the first picture but for some reason they redesigned the Reamers and they are as in the 2nd picture.

Baum, El Paso and Zdmak Tools are still selling the reamers with the aluminum body. If you ask me I like the reamer ends on these better then the newest Hazet ones. It looks like the older design would hold more carbon as it has wider deeper grooves/flutes.

New or old the non-hazet reamers are cheaper and they work.

There actually is other designs of Glow Plug Reamers from Asia that come as a set which I see in eBay but I have not read of any of our members using them and I have no personal experience with them.
