Anyone know what the MSRP was on a base model 98-99 e300 when new? No fancy options. Don’t have a window sticker to mine and I’m curious. I knew it was more than a 99 e320 that was $46000 new.

Mine, a '99 E300, was $45,500.00. It had moonroof, leather interior and heated seats as options. I paid $42,500.00 plus sales tax for it. My brother owns the car now. I think he's driven it 5K miles in 7 years. It's a polished garage queen now.

That looks like the '96/'97. The '98/'99 EPA MPG, is higher than yours.

Ummm... what? Maybe take another look because his registration clearly says 1998 and TURBO DIESEL in three separate spots.

It is not, clearly it is a 1998 E300 24valve 3.0 Turbo diesel, 606.962.

Mine's higher mpg. Might of had to do with when and which State it was shipped to? I bought mine new in Nebraska, 1999. Which is where the car is now.....
