I finally got around to installing a EGR delete kit on the 300SD. Found out that someone plugged the port up with a screw years ago. It looks better cosmetically and the reduction of vacuum lines looks good as well. I did the same with my long gone 300D except I left the EGR in place albeit disconnected.

Decided to get my injectors cleaned and rebuilt from Mark at dieselfuelinjector.guru. The hot idle issue that I have been dealing with is gone. Simple job, great result.

Low Risk

Hey Roll Guy, this one has some of your parts in it. Found it along side of a barn, it had been there for a long time. Finally got a coat of wax on it after sanding the paint for hours on end. Of course it came a shower at photo time..

We had a brown 300D in the family for years. Loved it.

220D dent removal and polishing

My friend is not a member here, so he asked me to post his "low risk" activities. He is polishing the paint on his 440,000 mile 220D, and a friend is removing some dents.
