I thought I had posted pics on this, but can’t find them...
A rubber shock mount is resilient and thick. A hole is drilled into the air cleaner, and a short bolt installed on it, clenching down to the air cleaner sheet metal. One of those rubber buffers is slid in the shaft (which is shorter than the buffer’s thickness!). That buffer holds it tight against the valve cover. Works great. I think a UCA bushing would work well too.

That's what my car seems to have. I thought it was original. Had car for 30 years, so I may have installed it, or perhaps the shop that had the engine out in 2001.
