123 240D ac aux fan will not come on
Just finished rebuilding my entire ac system. pretty much all new everything and a Sanden compressor swap with the exception of the evaporator.
My aux fan has never worked - jumped it straight to the battery and it did about two rotations before dying. I ran out to an AutoZone and grabbed a cheap universal 12" fan to replace it, fit that fan and wired it all up. When I jump the temp switch at the receiver / dryer nothing happens. When I tested the relay on the driver side fender I found It to be good. Any ideas what might be the issue? I'm so close to getting my ac working and would hate to be slowed down by something as simple as an aux fan. thank you! |

Roll guy sells a relay kit that forces the six fan on when the compressor is on. That might be a good option.
Have you tried to verify that there is voltage at the connector? While I get it that the relay may be good, the conductor may have been damaged.

What year is your 240D?
Are you sure you jumped the Temp switch and not the low pressure switch? They are both located near/on the receiver drier |
