W123 motor shock kit question

I was looking at buying new buffers before changing the motor mounts on our 85 300D.

This is what an epc diagram shows:

This what comes up for the repair kit part number:

I read that there were several versions of the shock mount. With an 85, presumably the last one.

The part does not seem to match. What would that long bolt be for?

Anyone know, for an 85 what needs to be ordered?

PS: My EPC no longer works. Diagram is from an on-line epc. But still - the Pelican part doesn't seem to make sense, yet is says it is right for my car.

OK I found the answer on one of the good sites that we are not allowed to mention here

In the picture you will note a long bolt. This is for the purpose of compressing the rubber bushings BEFORE installation. If you don't compress the rubbers first you may not get the nut started on the bottom shaft threaded end. Once the bushings are installed you will not need this long bolt.

PLEASE NOTE: This is for the bottom of one shock only. There may be two shocks on your diesel on both sides of the engine attached to the mount arms. If you also need the upper bushing mounts those are available separately. Look below to order an upper bushing mount.
Thanks Kent for the great support for old diesels!

How I ruined an engine shock. The long shaft on the Engine Shock has flats that fit a 6 or 7 mmi wrench.
I did not put the wrench on the flats (that would have kept the shaft from turning) and I used an air impact hoping to snatch the shaft nut quickly off. That resulted in the shaft inside of the shock unscrewing and all of the fluid dumping out.
