Power antennae for dummies...
I think the motor works as once in a very rare while the antennae moves, but for the most part it just stays up.
Time to replace. I have read a number of posts but would someone mind giving me a quick tutorial on this one. As low level as possible please. No master mechanic here. Thanks all! |

Before you repalce do this
Once the antenna is up, spray little wd-40 on the entire shaft of antenna, and push in and out if you can with hand gently- while someone is doing the same from inside using the power antenna switch. The ouside person is just assisting the antenna motor with gentle force. On my oldsmobile this had helped me once and had no problem on that antenna ever after that. while at it also try by replacing the fuse of power antenna. MVK
