The website for submitting a class action claim is supposed to go live on March 23.
https://www.mbbluetecsettlement.com/ I don't doubt these cars will be on the road 20 years....my GLK has almost 100k on it already and has had WAY less repairs than my 420SEL had in that same traveled distance. By that point the previous owner of my 420SEL had spent many thousands in repairs, it had been towed twice, and in the shop for running issues at least 7 times. (MB Dealer in Tennessee) My GLK has needed a DPF (likely was ruined by hundreds of hours idling in chicago traffic/cold weather where it came from), a front wheel bearing, and nox sensor. Thats it....in 100k. Excluding items like brake rotors, fluid services etc....which are all easier to do than on the old vehicles. Can change the diesel filter on an OM651 in about 10 mins and spill next to no fuel in the process....and no leaks afterwards. Everything still works, its in great shape inside and out, and drives like new. There's plenty of sprinters with these powertrains with 200,300,400+ thousand miles on them driving around fine. I am sure plenty of the normal vehicles with these engines will do the same.
