Egr Removal Pictures

Here is the aftermath of my egr removal - sure looks alot cleaner down there eh? (besides the oil - I know I need to clean and polish a bit under there....)

Hey Breckman - How does your diesel run at the high altitudes. I went to Breckenridge this last winter and my S-350 overfueled and smoked something terrible. It stopped when I got back down to a reasonable altitude.

What did you use to plug the hole in the manifold. I'd like to do that to mine. Thanks.

Up here at altitude it runs slow off the start - but then well - as for plugging the hole I just replaced the intake and exaust manifolds with the earlier NON EGR type (off of a 80 SD)

Breckman 99,

Careful the EPA may come knocking at your door with a 10 pound sledge hammer.

This is interesing. I take it you got a power gain when you modified it? If so, was it very noticeable?

Frank.

The power gain was noticeable - but that could be due to the fact that my old turbo had some damaged compressor fins...
