Question Fuel Filter Water Sensor

On my 2008 Mercedes Benz E320 Bluetec my fuel filter has a leak on the top. Hoses are OK.
I believe this water in fuel sensor o-ring is cracked: 0159970745.
Can anyone tell me the diameter of this o-ring?
Thanks

Can't help you with the O-ring diameter. If it is removable, take it off and go to your local hardware store with it......they should be able to help you find a suitable substitute. Oh the other hand, does a new ring come with a new filter? If so, I think I would just bite the bullet and buy a new filter. Trust me, small fuel leaks can turn into "stuck on the side of the road" issues very quickly

In face of it, I also believe the best idea is to change the filter because most of new filter comes with new o-rings.
I try to buy new o-rings at Autozone but these kind of stores does not sale this kind of parts for Mercedes.
Thanks for your reply.

I got the attached pictured O-ring assortment at Autozone. The sizes in the kit an how many of a particular size is on the back.

I use that a Harbor Freight Metric O-ring assortment and 2 SAE O-ring assortments to limit the amount of driving needed to fined one and the expense of buying only on O-ring.

The kits have saved me lots of time and running around. I used one kit yesterday when I did an oil change on my W123 and found the O-rings on the Oil filter Cap tube/stem were so had they cracked off when I removed them.
I have also used the various O-ring assortments on faucets and some other small plumbing jobs.

Not needed as often but I also have metric and SAE copper washer assortments. I used that twice within the last week.

Harbor Freight has metric O-ring assortments and copper washer assortments (don't know if they have metric) and they also have a Viton O-ring assortment but I have not paid attention if it is metric or not. Easy enough to go to their site and check.

Thanks for your information about the o-ring size and other ideas in how to resolve the issue.
About the size I just found out that the size is: ID 15 mm and Section (thickness)is:2.5 mm.
As I did not found at my local Autozone I had it ordered and will arrive 11/04/20.
I found the ones used in faucets but the closest one was all in standard measurements. I kind of ID 9/16 x OD 3/4 X Section 3/32. I did not think about HF.
I hope my problem is only these two o-rings because the leak is getting worse.
Thanks everyone.
