Hi Eveyone!

I just got a 2005 CDI with 188000 miles. Runs great, super fun car, but throwing the code P0243 for the waste gate actuator.

Its funny, I have had it about 200 miles now and for 20 of those miles full power and then for the other 180 the turbo boost is gone once I hit like 25mph.

Any ideas?

Or, alternatively, does anyone know how to remove the turbo and get to the actuator?

The turbo has variable veins which control the boost pressure rather than a waste gate. Seems like the veins maybe sticking.
Your options include running a turbo vein cleaner through, remove and clean veins or replace turbo.

I was noticing that this thing works fine in the morning but after 5 miles then the thing shuts down and doesnt work
