Fuel Gauge
On a 2008 E320 Bluetec, other than using an OBD, is there a way to know which of the two sending unit inside the fuel tank is not working?
My dashboard fuel gauge is not showing how much fuel is there in the tank and according to my searches can be one of the two sending units not working but the OBD is showing me nothing about it. The two units are identified as: Left and Right. Any idea about this? Thanks.

You will need a diagnostic computer of some sort. Something that can pull real time data.
ICarSoft should be able to do this. These are about $150 on the ubiquitous e-commerce site with free Prime delivery. There are several Android apps that pair with a cheap Bluetooth dongle that may be able to access the data as well. I know LegitStreetCars on YouTube has promoted this on some of his videos. Also try AmazingRoadTV he’s a Russian guy but he subtitles in English. He also promotes a diagnostic solution on his channel as well.
