Are there more complete parts diagrams

Another way to ask the question is "how many EPCs and other diagram sources are there?

I've been using this site https://nemigaparts.com/cat_spares/epc/mercedes/1/

but find lots of things aren't found or at least aren't obvious.

Example: 85TD has clips that hold the trim at the bottom of the rear quarter glass.

86 & up 126 has some rubber columns that can be added to the front seat corners. Top of trim on outside of front window is held with a rivet or screw.
126 has gasket behind the grille etc.

I'd like to be able to look up the PN and correct name so I could find the parts. Getting a parts person to go over these minute things is near impossible and obviously not worth their time.

alternatively there is a nice search here:

The best way to find part numbers for your own car, is to use the official Mercedes EPC. If you enter your VIN it usually greys out any parts that don't fit.

If you do a Google Search for 'ebay wis epc' you will find many links, or just go to ebay and search for mercedes wis epc.

The hits will be for dvds or downloads of the Mercedes WIS EPC and ASRA system. Usually with a year, like 2018 2019, 2020. (any year will do for our old cars) It will also say that it is for cars from 1986 on. But that only applies to WIS and ASRA which you won't need unless you also have a later car. Despite what they say, the EPC included covers all our old Mercedes regardless of model year.

The system will run on a virtual machine on your Windows PC (in an Oracle Virtual Box) Don't let that worry you. All that is needed, along with install instructions is included. Some are better than others. I paid less than $5 for a download version from a seller in the UK.

There is a bit of a learning curve for the MB EPC system, but it's not too difficult to master!

I don't think so! - It's about 50Gb - You can download it yourself from many eBay sellers for under $10. I paid under $4.00. And they provide instructions on how to install.

If you don't want to buy it from a reseller on ebay, you can also torrent it for free. I won't post a direct link, but rutracker has it.
