85SD 240K & stopped counting painted, putting bac together. 84SD 180,000. sold to a neighbor and member here but I forget his handle. The 84 is much improved from when I had it. 85TD beginning to repair to DD status. Lots of stuff to do.

I thought the video might be about replacing the plastic...

tabs which hold cards onto the door frame.

I stripped and refinished the wood grain laminate pieces in my project car. I considered replacing the wood laminate on many of the pieces but opted to gather other pieces which were suitable to refinish. Imo, the only proper way to laminate pieces which have unusable laminate would require a vacuum press and the plastic bag method.

I would use superglue in the new plastic tabs, then sprinkle with backing powder. Instant bond thats stronger than the plastic.... Try it you'll see. You can sand it, use a dremal and shape it etc...

The putting new foam in the card was useful also. I'll watch it again when that project floats to the top. Current project is dealing with window chrome.

You want to use Baking Soda, not baking Powder.

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
