Harbor Freight Not Selling The Diesel Compression Test Kits?

Just looked over on the Harbor Freight site and I could find no Diesel Compression Test kits for sale there.

Ebay and Amazon likely still sell them. It is sad to lose a local resource.

They were junk. Literally got two cylinders in before it started reading 0. I disassembled everything and couldn't fix it.

Well I have tried to keep some tabs on the user and only a few people had issues with their kits.
However, it was something likely better bought over the counter so if you have an issue you can exchange for another one.

Mine worked well the one time I used it but I used the Injector adapter.

Note if look on eBay for the Injector Adapter by itself they used to be like $30 each and you had no gauge or hoses or fittings with it.

I bought one from Harbor Freight in August. So they must have just recently discontinued them. It seemed to work fine for me the few times I used it.

I think it is clear that no matter what companies cheap tools you buy there is a risk. The same with cheap car parts and so on.

The question is what is the alternative and how much will the alternative cost?

Great news, one less sale for the Communist Party of China. There are tool rentals here. In Chicago there is a tool library, yes one fee to join drop off a tool to go into the program and get a free check out. Rules may have changed due to the Kung-Fu Flu.

Too bad. I have one. I've had to replace the gauge on other HF pressure testers. I usually just order the gauge from Amazon.

Yeah, sometimes cheap HF tools fail out of the box.

We need China and Mexico to work because we don't want to work that hard. I needed painting and sheetrock done. I started with the white guy. The Mexicans came in, gave me a quote and were almost done before the white guy got his bid together. They did a beautiful job and modified as necessary to accommodate the quirky characteristics of the cabin.

They've been here upwards of 10 years. Fortunately, Trump couldn't throw them out. One was a banker in Mexico but now he paints. Gotta do something. His daughter just graduated HS & is almost a math genius.

First off Trump is not the issue and remember Obama dealt with a lot of illegals during his administration.Meaning there must be a reason for doing it.

Out here in Los Angles County a Contractor comes out to estimate. The Contractor is most often a middle man. He makes his estimate usually based on his ability to hire some Hispanic subcontractor for less. So no matter who you hire you usually get Hispanics working on the job.
When part of the job comes out badly the Contractor won't warrant it and claims you need to go to the subcontractor.

Maybe the ones you mentioned were here legally. Peoples experience with Hispanics is different.

My Hispanic Neighbor has had mixed luck hearing other Hispanics.
He had a Guy build a wooden fence that he was supposed to paint. The Guy painted like 10 feet of the fence and walked off the job with the cash.

The same neighbor decided to build a block wall fence facing the alley. They built an 8 foot fence with a sliding metal gate. The fence was bowed out (not straight) and 8 feet was 2 feet higher then code (it can be 8 feet if you have a swimming pool which he did not) and the sliding gate did not work correctly.

He left the rest of the wooden fence un-painted but Hired a Filipino and his Filipino crew to take off 2 feet of his block wall and fix the sliding gate.

In the Los Angles area 1/4th of the Hispanic Gang Members are illegal aliens.

One of our Members hired some Hispanics to put in I believe it was a wooden fence and they dug the hole put the post in and poured in the dry concrete into the hole followed by Water.
It might be dryer most of the years where that Member lives. Here if you want to get say 10 years out of a wooden post it needs to be painted multiple times and the end going into the concreted needs to be coated. And that is with pressure treated wood.
