New to me 98 w210(looking for parts site)

Hi everyone recently aquired a 98 w210 E300 with 218k on the clock. I have some work ahead of me before Im content on making it my daily driver.

I have pouring over the forums learning as much as I can about this vehicle. I will need to run through the fuel system extensively in hopes of curing rough idle and nailing issues.

Im looking for good sources for parts. I know of ********az, rock auto etc. Not too keen on ebay stuff unless it's dire or only part available that i might need.

Also any advice for working on these issues is greatly appreciated.

The dealer, the FCP one, or this site have a lot or stuff you might need.

Congratulations. You got the same car as my DD.

I'd start out nosing around the fuel system for the rough idle - mainly injectors and fuel pump. The first time you open the fuel system up and have to bleed it to get the car to start you will wonder if you have messed it up.

What part of the world are you located?

Seems like I have all the issues on the fuel side. Rough idle, nailing, possible misfire on a cylinder, maybe bad glow plug, massive amounts of air in fuel lines, maybe a bad injector/s, white smoke on warm up. Im starting easy and work my way up to the more difficult/expensive.

Im on the oregon/idaho border. High desert country.

You will be chasing fuel leaks the whole time you own it, but I would say starting with replacing all the lines and orings would be good. OM606 glow plugs often do not come out easily at all, so be prepared for that before you start the job.
