Power steering hose connection

Ruptured the high pressure power steering hose on 2017 Mercedes sprinter 2500. Ordered new hose but was a little surprised to see the connections. One end which goes to the reservoir is a standard threaded connection but the other end is not threaded but contains 2 o rings with no obvious way of securing it. At least not obvious to me. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Can you post a picture of it?

Power steering pressure hose

Unfortunately I don’t have the hose here. It’s at my sons house. But the part can easily be seen as it is Rein Automotive part number 9064663981. You can clearly see the reservoir end has a standard threaded fitting but the other end just has two o rings and a flange. No obvious way to me to secure it. Thanks for any advice.

Hmm, looking at a picture of it, I'm thinking that there should be some kind of U clamp that goes over the flange end (sort of like an old type distributor hold down clamp on a gasser) to hold it in place. I doubt that a press fit with the O- ring would hold it in place under pressure. Other than that, I got nothing......

I think that the plate (shown in the linked photo) on the bottom low pressure hose is what holds the ends of the low pressure hose and the high pressure hose to the steering box.

Thanks for the input. I need to look closely for that plate. That may be the answer.
