Accelerator Linkage Part Number 240D

Does anyone know the part number of the accelerator (throttle) linkage that goes here? I recently realized that it's not supposed to be a spring but can't seem to find the part number in any exploded views...

I would consider that a yard part. There are also threads on making linkage which may be easier than going to the yard hoping to find one. Linkage length is in the FSM but you have to be sure to find your exact model.

Hopefully someone will have the PN and it will still be available.

I wouldn't bother to replace it - it only serves to operate the air valve in the intake, which IMHO should be removed along with the EGR. Creating vacuum in the intake of a diesel is only mitigating part of the efficiency advantage over a gas engine.

Couldn't find the parts in EPC either, but did find them in a video at 38 seconds in.
https://youtu.be/1dGAemWtBLQ

The parts that are missing function exactly as the spring that is in place.
They return the throttle levers back to the normal (non-cruise control) running position when the cruise control is disengaged.

Probably okay to leave it as is (or even remove it), especially if the cruise control is not functional.

That is the best manifold (performance wise) of all the 240s.
The air valve serves to keep manifold vacuum up. Very bad back pulse when intake valve
closes, disturbers air flow.
To adjust air valve must open only 80% at full throttle.
Other performance mods to manifold can be done.
