1982 722.117 Tranny
O.K., here we go ~
I'll try to post an image I resized with windows "paint" : Let's see if it works, I was fiddling with adjusting the modulator pressure , this tranny is the late style with vacuum controlled modulator . I had the car up on safety stands, warmed up, in 'D' (4rth gear) going a shade over 40 MPH to get it to 42PSI, vacuum disconnected . At 30 MPH it had less than 30# . I'm not sure what's the deal here, zero pressure in any gear when at rest, I thought I was supposed to have some pressure at rest, no ? . I thought maybe I'd used the prong pressure port and connected to the lower one, started the engine and immediately blew my nice N.O.S. American made liquid filled gauge.... sigh . I ordered in a new one that reads in PSI and BAR . I have looked and looked for '82 / '83 722.117 pressure values, all I find is the earlier ones from '77 ~ '81, not what I need here .
