Restoring W123 Fog Lights?
Has anyone taken a very faded W123 amber fog light and successfully restored it so that the amber color is bright and vibrant? Neither example attached are mine BTW.

There was a thread several years ago about restoring the yellow Fog
Lights. Couldn`t find it searching but came across this one. W123 Fog lights I just run the clear Fog Lights in the 240 and 300D. I changed the 55W bulb in the 300 to a 100W, and wired them to come on with the high beam. really lights up the dark roads out here. Charlie

If you change to clear, you can also buy yellow bulbs, if you have to have the yellow. That is what I did after I installed Ecodes on my w123 and w124.
