I still need to fix the turn signals on my 85SD. I swapped the emergency flasher switch and combo switch from a working car with the relay behind the gauge pod. Turn signals still don't work but the flashers do.


I have the FSM but the diagrams are blurry and make my eyes swim. Most of the diagrams I've seen are the same from when Mercedes lost the originals and scanned a copy.


Are there other sources that you like? Any other quick part swaps that I should try before getting into tracing?

85SD 240K & stopped counting painted, putting bac together. 84SD 180,000. sold to a neighbor and member here but I forget his handle. The 84 is much improved from when I had it. 85TD beginning to repair to DD status. Lots of stuff to do.
