'82 300SD AC Belt Size - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

I searched, really I searched, but did not find an answer.

Everywhere I look it says that my AC Belt size is 13x925. Pelican Parts and all other sites offer that as their belt for my car, but it currently has a no brand 13x875.

Anybody knows which one is the right size? I am thinking about buying both, but was wondering what is the official size.

I ran into this a number of years ago. There are two sizes depending on vin.

Start with the longer one. It’s easier to put on. Tension it up. If it doesn’t work get the shorter one. I did this with cheap Autozone belts. I went with the longer.

I'm using a Gates belt from autozone. works fine

Jhermit - from what I remember the stock belt is just a bit wider than the one now sold by parts stores. The slimmer ones work but were not quite in spec with what the original design specified.
