Where do you buy Bilstein Shocks

I have an 1983 300SD with 234,800 miles and would like to replace the shocks with HD Bilsteins. Where do you get the best price on these shocks? Thanks,Ken

I bought my from FastLane, the link is at the top of this page. Best price no matter where you go is going to be around $80.00 each. IMO they are the only shock to use on MB diesels.

Ken,
Fastlane's prices are always extremely competitive, but I actually order from them because their shipping system is amazing. Once I ordered something at around 4PM and got it the next day at 11AM. Things like that indicate efficient caring customer service, which I think is more important than saving a few dollars. Buy Fastlane!

I just put four on my 300CD, got them from Phil at Fast Lane, they may have been a couple of bucks more but it was time to pay my dues. The new ones were upside down compared to the old ones. I called Phil and he e-mailed a drawing of the OEM shocks, and the ones he sent were correct. He was truley concerned and was anxious to help.
The new shocks gave me a NEW CAR! I've had them on for about a month now, and still can't wait each morning to get that baby on the road! Theres really strong cross winds at each end of my 75 mile commute, I could hardly keep it on the road when going into and coming out of the cuts. Now its steady as a rock.
There may be something out there as good as the Bilsteins, but for my money, I'll hang tight with "The real thing"

I've used fastlane a few times because they support this forum. But, if you relly want to get the best prices and service for MB parts Rusty can't be beat.

Box-a-rox-----checked around thru several sites before ordering mine today (Bilsteins for '84 300D) and ended up ordering them through a dealer (yes, dealer) out on the west coast, a guy named Tom Hanson, who I found through the MB Club of America website. They were $48/each; hard to beat. His # is 800-252-6877 ext306.
