'07 E320 Bluetec engine vibration, even after new motor mounts

I replaced the motor mounts (for the third time in 5 years) on my brother's '07 E320 Bluetec (OM642) yesterday. For the past few months the mounts have been bad, and transmit vibration and noise (mostly at idle) into the cab. After replacing the mounts with Lemforder brand, the vibration can still be felt in the steering wheel and shifter at all times. Although nowhere near as bad, there is still a slight vibration regardless of the speed of the car, or engine. It is more noticeable at idle, but doesn't change speed or pitch with a change in speed. I can't figure out what would cause this vibration other than motor mounts. In the photo you can see the difference between the new and old. Anyone experienced this or have any ideas". A friend has an exact same car, and does NOT have this issue, or has had the mounts replaced for years.

Definitely replace the tranny mount. Ours had the same problem. at idle in gear the vibration could be felt in the steering wheel even. It's pretty easy to do.
