This is interesting.
AFAIK The only reason there should be oil mixing into the pre-filter is if the o-ring on the lift pump plunger is compromised.
On the injection pump side of things, there must be a way to test for engine oil leaks. Perhaps removing a hardline and allowing it to fire into a bottle? Then getting the fuel tested?
I’ve long suspected some sort of internal leak in my IP.
