Anyone using Mobil Boxx?

Anyone out there using Mobil's 12 quart bag in a box?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFK45rkiaJ8

It would save me about $8 per oil change. Might give it a try....

Looks like only 12 quart available in US....20L across the pond.

Here's someone who had an unpleasant experience with it.

To solve that fellow's problems I would decant the oil from the box into old jugs left over from previous oil changes. That would avoid the dripping spigot and not knowing how much oil you are putting into your engine.

$8 per oil change adds up over time. Damn near buys a 6 pack of good beer every time you change the oil.

Those boxes are all I buy nowadays when they are on the shelf at WalMart. I don't have an issue with them. I will say that once you have drained it as much as you can in the box take it out of the box and bleed the bag. You get a little more out that way.

I'm sorry, but that bad review post made me imagine one of those infomercials where someone is completely incompetent at accomplishing a simple task so they can sell you a gadget...

I'm pretty sure you're not intended to hold the entire box over the engine while you try to dispense it into the fill hole, but maybe some people just need something to get mad about. Those flingin' flangin' young people and their boxed wine oil!!

I just bought one at wallyworld… entire shelf of oil was gone except for the box of oil… I needed it, so I bought it.
I will dispense what I need, and shelf it with the spout facing up…
