W140 '92 300SD Fuse 17 Engine & Shut off Problems
I'm having fuse 17 issues with a '92 300SD W140 body style
The fuse 17 blows instantly when the key is turned to shut off the engine. Fuse 17 controls the power feed to the shut off solenoid. So not only does the fuse blow, but the engine doesn't shut off and then has to be shut off manually. The engine harness has been replaced, and the fuses on the base module are good. Even if I disconnect the connector to the solenoid the fuse still blows. I have tried disconnecting other components that are on fuse 17 such as the turn signals and the dome light without success. I have also replaced the door jamb switches. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for fuse 17? Or a list of other components that run off of fuse 17?

Just to follow up on this, I opened up the replacement engine harness to the shut off solenoid and there was a short. Someone had kinked the wires to fit through the intake manifold.
