Location of Intermittent Relay for Windshield Wipers
 

'83 300CD Where is the intermittent relay located *under the dash?* or where?

When wipers are set to"I", there is a barely discernable delay of WW's. Duration has been getting less & less over last 2 years.

Also, anyone know the p/n of this thing? I've got a box full of elec items/switches/relays & might have what I need, somewhere, , , ,

Behind the instrument cluster and to the left side. Kind of on the other side of the firewall from the fuses. Two small boxes on brackets. I think the left one is for the rear window defogger and the right is the wiper relay.

There are a couple different versions, the original one in my 1978 300CD was adjustable once you had the gauge binnacle out....

It also had thicker pins so I couldn't use it in my '84 300CD dammit .
