Reached Bottom And is Now DIGGING

"Beam wrenches are not accurate and should have disappeared with the 70's. "

Again, more disinformation with zero base in reality or science .

One must wonder why an obviously frightened person decides to keep making him self a public fool by showing he has no concept of 7th grade physics much less any mechanical ability .

It's OK to use if it's from Harbor Freight. ;)

I used mine for this until I snapped it clean loosening lug nuts . :) Didn't set me back much.

I have one of those cheapo, pseudo torque wrenches made of a slightly flexible steel shaft with a gauge down at the end that supposedly tells you how many feet pound you are applying, based on how much the shaft bends. It’s long, I don’t use it as a torque wrench anymore, not that I ever trusted it that much, it makes a pretty good breaker bar however.

If you really need the torque that leverage provides, take your favorite breaker bar to hardware store and get the smallest galvanized pipe that it will fit into. Often you can get three or 4 feet, then cut it to whatever length you want.

Ah, beam wrenches, that’s what they’re called.

I would agree that they are probably not to be relied on as a torque wrench. I brought it maybe 20 years ago and for some reason still have it. It does put some pretty good torque on the nut.

Beam Typ Torque Wrenches

Actually they're *very* accurate, just a .I.A. to use .

I store my flex handle (misnomer : breaker bar) with the cheater pipe slipped in it's handle .

haha....me, too! My dad, and his buddies, all WWII vets, from whom I gleaned much knowledge and experience "workin on cars", used to call the cheater pipe a "torque multiplier"...lol:)

How many more times is this douche going to be allowed to troll and break forum rules before the mods step in? Are there mods in this forum?

I just want to make sure I understand you .

Every link you've posted supports me .
