I live in Centro America in the 1970's and did a lot of repair like this although I think this one is junk ~ the can shaft and roller bearing alone cannot be expected to last in any actual use .

I avoid flood jobs like the plague .

Every time there's a hurricane in the South they clean up the submerged cars and dump them in buy here pay here lots in So. Cal....
