Talking Pic of new 5 speed 240D

Here she is. The clock seems to work when I am driving but seems there is no power to it when the key is off. The warning buzzer does not work either (which is kinda nice) when the door is opened so that may indicate some problem which I will look into now that the company has left.

Have a great day all

Must be the stealth version I heard so much about, because I don't see it.

Well, 2 days ago it took 6 tries, then she crank. Yet, yesterday I was able to start her 3 times without a problem. Today I am gong to get underneath the car and check the solenoid connections and clean up some minor corrosion on the positive terminal of the battery.

hot start problem

rick, mine did it a couple of weeks ago after about 6 starts/stops (quick errand running) and on the last stop just click. ambient temps over 90 deg f. it took 2 cycles of the key to get it to turn over.
a couple of years ago it would do the same thing after a hwy run of over 100miles also in high ambient temps. sometime would take 12-14 key cycles to turn over, but it has not shown the same phenonema since. i should mention i do have a habit if on a longish trip to NOT turn the car off unless absolutely necessary!

i also cleaned up a corroded positive battery terminal and sofar (touch wood) it hasn't done it again.

lemme know if you find corrosion on the starter connection when i will check mine too
good luck

Bob
