Talking Pic of new 5 speed 240D

Here she is. The clock seems to work when I am driving but seems there is no power to it when the key is off. The warning buzzer does not work either (which is kinda nice) when the door is opened so that may indicate some problem which I will look into now that the company has left.

Have a great day all

Sorry about the screwed up posts but guess I need to go back to computer #1 school. I still cant get it going. The file is down to 62.3K which should work any way you will have to visualize----- brown "85" W123 with euro headlights, bumpers, and you might as well visualize a beautiful babe:p in the front seat as long as your visualizing, what the hay.

Leathermang

Ya.... an hour meter, now that you mention it, thats what I have.
BTW that little teardrop trailer is still for sale and I stopped to check it out. Brand new looking and no price on it, must be lots, I'd guess. The tongue weight seems allot, dont know what it should be but I had to strain to lift it which seemed to much.

Stevo, you have been eyeing that teardrop a long time,,, don't you think it is time you actually found out how much they are asking for it ? You need to get it so we will know if a 240d manual will pull it.. Did you join my club ? If nothing else how about taking pictures of it and getting contact information and posting that for the other members.. if you are not going to get it ...
That IS a very pretty babe in the front seat...

Glad you enjoyed the "babe", shes allot more tailored to your personal tastes than the one you would have seen had I figured out this attachment problem.

I will take some pics of the "teardrop"and call the number to see what they want for it next time I go into town. Guess I could scan it and email it to you if you like. I wouldn't mind having it but I now have this new 240 and that engine I am rebuilding so I need to think of ways to get $ coming in, not going out. My wife wants to keep the "79" 240D, which I was gona sell to pay for the new 5 spd 240D. She started driving it and now she wont let it go. Anyway I would be glad to scan a pic or 2 and get the info for you if you dont mind getting it via email. I dont have the energy right now to go back and screw around trying to send a pic on the forum. Maybe" Boatrash" will see this, take pity on me and come down and have a brew and help me figure it out.

The limit for an attachement is 66k. But it must be a jpeg. You probably did not save your picture as a jpeg.

Go back into your photo editor and open the picture.
Then go to Save As... and save as a jpeg.

Then attach that!

Hope it helps, because I want to print out my girl in the front seat. Ohhh,

The pic is a 300x163 pixel, jpeg of 62 K, should fly. could the girl be so ugly as to be undigestible by the forum's program?
I will do the browse and attach thing but I think nothing will happen as nothing showed up with "preview Reply"

nice!! more more! BTW, you could do better with 66kb (I think) than such a small picture. If you send the big pictures to me I'll work something out if you want!

OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You were wise to latch onto this gem when you found it. I now beg you to leave the European bumpers, headlights, et al. If you want US Bumpers, and all the US junk that goes with them, I will find a US 240D of your choice and trade with you.

Enjoy,

SHARING PICTURES 101 :

Stevo.... go to Photoisland.com and register.... this is a free service at which you can place pictures and then let others come and see them..... IT IS FREE... and has so little advertizing that I wonder how they support it....

Then anytime you want to share pics... you put them there, choose a name for the " album " in which you place them.... send an email or post the url and people can to to the site... type in your username and THEIR password which you assigned them and they can see the set of pictures which you wanted to share with them...

You can make only certain pictures available to people you are wanting to share with ....

For instance, when we started talking about doing the Texas Shindig in the spring I went to that park and the one closer and posted pics of it.. It has advantages over placeing pics into the discussion thread when large numbers of pics are needing to be shared... when wanting to keep up with the thread one does not need to wait for all the pics to load each time.... and the viewing options are better on Photoisland.com .....you can blow them up to see them better or see thumbnails so you can choose which you want to see closer..

Now , if you wanted to look sophisticated and suave right from the start you would find someone like TXbill who already has an account there... and when signing up give him "credit " for sending you... this will give him an additinal 5 megs added to his default amount of 50 megs of storage... Mine is already maxed out at the 100 megs due to a printer sale promotion number...

Now , what would be really cute would be for you and the Mrs. to come to the fall Texas shindig IN the Teardrop pulled by one of your MB's....
