603 turbo oil feed

I'm finishing off a head rebuild on a 603 but am having one heck of a time trying to snake through the T3 oil supply line. Just wondering if anyone had some tips?

Is it a rubber line? Sometimes I straighten out a coat hanger and tape to the hose and it keeps the rubber part from flopping around. makes it easier to fish the hose through.

I wish it were flexible but it's steel.

Engine out of the car or in? The line feeding oil from engine block to the turbo? It is difficult but not impossible. I have done it a number of times. You may need to loosen the turbo holding bracket or remove turbo.

You shouldn't need to remove the line to do the head rebuild or change the head gasket. I had problem myself but only on threading the m6 bolt to the turbo bracket. Now you have removed it then you may have to take some brackets off to put it back in. It is not rocket science. Good luck.
